Big Screen Movie Nights Return This Thursday
Image
Big Screen Nights are back!

Join us in Tattnall Park as we celebrate Earth Day this Thursday, April 22 in conjunction with the Macon Parks and Recreation Department. We are showing the movie Into the Wild at 8pm, but Parks and Rec will have Earth Day festivities starting at 6pm and leading up to the movie.

Into the Wild, which was directed by Sean Penn and nominated for two Oscars, is based on the true story of an Emory graduate who decides to leave his comfortable Atlanta life behind in favor of the Alaskan tundra. The movie is filled with beautiful shots of the great outdoors and what better place to enjoy it than in the park.

This event is FREE and we will be serving popcorn and giving away College Hill t-shirts at no charge!

Bring your blankets, chairs and beverages of choice and come celebrate Earth Day with us!

Cinema at the Station: Polar Express
Join the College Hill Alliance, NewTown Macon, Macon Arts and the Macon-Bibb Convention and Visitors Bureau on Tuesday, December 22, for a FREE screening of "The Polar Express" at downtown Macon's Terminal Station.

The movie starts at 7 p.m. Families are invited to bring their blankets, chairs, pillows and sleeping bags to the historic train station. For extra fun, in honor of the famed bedtime story, movie-goers are encouraged to come dressed in their winter pajamas and get cozy for the holiday film. We'll have hot chocolate and sweet treats available!
