Celebrate the grand opening of The Bike Store in Mercer Village with an official ribbon-cutting and press conference on Thursday, March 4 at 11:15 a.m. There will be free food from Mercer Village restaurants, the opportunity to register to win a mountain bike and the Mercer Cyclist will lead a bike ride from the new store to downtown for lunch, immediately following the event.
The newly opened bike retail and repair business re-located its Macon store from Northside Drive to 1305 Linden Ave., a 3200-square-foot space next door to the Georgia Public Broadcasting Studio. The press conference will also feature news on the partnership of the 1st Annual Macon Cycling Classic with Bragg Jam’s Moonlights Miles 5K Fun Run, slated for May 1, 2010 around Tattnall Square Park.
