Come join us on Sunday, July 11 at our new time 7 p.m. for FREE music in Washington Park.
The Grapevine will be performing this month at Second Sunday at Sunset. Although they are a local group based in Macon, this oldies cover band has traveled to entertain crowds across Georgia and the southeast. In 2000, The Grapevine won “Band of the Year” awarded by the Atlanta Society of Entertainers. The group of ten musicians play a variety of music ranging from R&B, Beach, Motown, Pop and Oldies of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Bring your family and friends and don’t forget your blanket so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the music of The Grapevine. Bring a picnic or buy a delicious boxed dinner from Michael’s on Mulberry for $5.
Also, take part in a free tie-dye event with Macon Arts Alliance! Some College Hill t-shirts will be provided but you can also bring your own to tie-dye while you enjoy historic Washington Park and the music of The Grapevine.
Second Sunday at Sunset and Tie-Dying with Macon Arts Alliance are brought to you FREE thanks to Knight Neighborhood Challenge grants.
